CRC® Program Re-accredited for another five years

From Kevin Seibert,
Managing Director, InFRE

Every five years InFRE must apply to have the CRC® certification program re-accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Our first renwal application was submitted in late January of this year and I'm happy to announce that the CRC® has been approved for NCCA accreditation status through July of 2019.

Getting ready to submit and completing the NCCA accreditation application is an extremely long and labor intensive process. I would like to thank the members of the InFRE Board of Standards and Policy Development and the more than twenty others who volunteed countless hours over the past year to help with comprehensive exam revisions, a pass point study and the long process of updating the CRC® Practice Analysis. All of these activities are critical to meeting NCCA accreditation standards and allows the CRC® to continue to meet the highest standard of certification program credibility.

Since 1977, the NCCA has been accrediting certifying programs based on the highest quality standards in professional certification to ensure programs adhere to modern standards of practice. Although there are more than 250 accredited programs in a wide range of professions, the CRC® program is part of a small and unique group of only four financial related designation programs that have received and maintained NCCA accreditation.

Best Regards,

Kevin S. Seibert, CFP®, CRC®, CEBS
